Janice Bailey Townsend

Dateline: Waxhaw, NC Janice Bailey Townsend, 86, died October 4, 2007. She was born on July 16, 1921 in National City, California, daughter of the late Orlando and Emma Scott Bailey. Burial will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 9, 2007 in Waxhaw City Cemetery. A memorial service will be held in the Townsend Auditorium of the JAARS Center, 7405 JAARS Rd., Waxhaw, NC 28173 at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, October 9, 2007. Mrs. Townsend is survived by a son, Tim Townsend, of Texarkana, TX, daughters, Judy Townsend and Barb Seavey and husband Bob, of Waxhaw, five grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday, October 8, 2007 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112.
