Jean Hernandez, also known as, Mammaw Jean, 69, of Monroe, passed away Friday, June 26, 2020 at her residence. She was born February 26, 1951 in Mecklenburg County a daughter of the late David and Evelyn Fowler Baker. Jean is preceded in death by her husband Paul Hernandez and a brother Paul Baker. Jean lived in Washington State for over 30 years, relocating back to Union County in 2017. A quiet, simple lady who loved her family fiercely. A giving women who loved to cook and was a loving pet grandma who was very humble. If we all could be half the person Jean was the world would be a much happier place.
