Jean Kluttz

Mrs. Jean Bullock Kluttz, 87, of Indian Trail, NC passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020. She was born in Stanly County on August 31, 1932 to the late Don Clayton Bullock and Nellie Odom Bullock. She is also preceded in death by her husband Bill Lamont Kluttz, and her sister Novaleen Robinson of Winston Salem. A graveside service will be held at 4:00pm Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Lakeland Memorial Park, the family will receive friends and relatives prior to the service from 2:00pm until 3:45pm at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. Jean was an Appalachian State Graduate with a teaching degree, she went on to teach high school English for over 30 years. She loved to take walks with her sister Jane. She traveled around the world with her husband. She was a longtime member of Central United Methodist Church, and involved in church ministries. She loved to play scrabble and work in her yard. Jean is survived by her daughters, Barbara Kluttz Stafford (David) of Indian Trail, JoAnne Kluttz Murphy (Mark) of Pittsboro and Kathryn Kluttz Farlow (Jon) of Archdale; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, and her twin sister, Jane Furr of Monroe.
