Jeanette Williams Greenberg

Jeanette Williams Greenberg, 76, of Monroe, NC passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. She was born in Darlington County, SC on October 24, 1947 daughter to the late Troy Williams Sr. and Juanita Stegall Williams. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 59 years James Burkhalter Greenberg, two brothers, Troy “Bubba” Williams Jr. and Charles Williams, and two sisters, Carolyn Williams and Brenda Bailey.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 30, 2024, with the Rev. Neal Workman officiating in the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service. The entombment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112.

Jeanette is survived by her two sons, Jimmy Greenberg of Lancaster, SC, and Kenneth “Kenny” Greenberg of Monroe, NC, and daughter Melissa Dement of Monroe, NC, six grandchildren, Bobby, Courtney, Jennifer, Lauren, Ray, and Camryn, and thirteen great-grandchildren.

The family would like to offer thanks to Jeanette’s care team at Novant Health. They provided wonderful care to her and the family.
