Jeffery Ray Dean, 59, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014. He was born October 4, 1954 in Gaston County, NC, son of Ray Dean and the late Ester Marie Chastain Dean. Jeffery was also preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Patrick Dean. A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112. The family will visit with friends and relatives beginning at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. In addition to his father, Mr. Dean is survived by his wife, Julie Neal Dean; his son, William Cody Dean; his daughter, Amy Palmer; sister, Misty Wright and two grandchildren.
