Jeffery Nelson Greene

Jeffery “Roe” Nelson Greene, 65, of Stanfield, NC passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021. He was born in Union County on July 28, 1956, son to the late Erastus Greene and Margie McCoy Greene. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Morgan and Audie Lee Thomas Joplin. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, October 11, 2021 at Antioch Baptist Church, 6223 Love Mill Road, Monroe, NC 28110, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends and relative from 6:00PM until 9:00PM on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. Roe is survived by his two children, Brandon Greene, wife Anna and Shana Smith, husband Jacob, eight grandchildren, Phoenix Smith, Aiden Smith, Kayla Sebold, Jonathan Hilty, Alexis Vargas, Hallie Schaffer, James Pressley and Jada Pressley, one great-grandchild, Harrison Sebold, his siblings, Charles Greene, Margaret Baucom, Sue Cox and Ercel Duncan.
