Jeffery “Lynn” Helms, 62, passed away on Wednesday July 2, 2025. He was born in Union County, NC, on October 17, 1962, son to the late Jerry Ray Helms and Rebecca Conrad Helms. He is also preceded in death by his brother Gary Helms.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday July 8, 2025 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 2301 N Rocky River Rd, Monroe, NC 28110. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM.

Lynn is survived by his son, Dusty Lemmons (McKinley), daughter, April Dawn Burton (Derek), and 5 grandchildren; Delana Burton, Karson Lemmons, Ansley “Jojo” Lemmons, Addie Eury, and Skye Taylor.
