Jerome Calvin Starnes Jr, 74, went home on Friday, October 19, 2018. He was born on April 20, 1944 to the late J.C. and Kathleen Helms Starnes. He was also preceded in death by a sister Kay Morrison. The Funeral service for Jerome will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, October 22, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Indian Trail, East Campus, 6140 W. Marshville Blvd, Marshville. NC 28103. Burial will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. He is survived by his wife Linda of 56 years, three daughters Deborah Stegall, husband Scott, Denita Starnes, husband Marty Smith, Donelle Carnes, husband John, and one son Chad Starnes wife LeaAnna, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by a sister Patricia Helms, two brothers, Donny Starnes, wife Ann, and Michael Starnes, wife Cindy.
