Jerry Brite Baucom

Jerry Brite Baucom, 74, son of the late Brite and Ellie Helms Baucom, passed away peacefully and into his heavenly home, Sunday, June 9, 2019. Jerry was mentally handicapped from birth. However, he was gifted with a great capacity to love. Perhaps, this was simply a reflection of the love he learned at an early age from his parents, his siblings, and his grandmother along with care givers throughout his entire long life. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his devoted brother, Cullie Joe Baucom. He is survived by his loving sister, Nancy Morrison, and his sister-in-law, Nancy Baucom, three nieces and one nephew. The family would like to especially thank the directors and staff of earthly angels at Elizabethan Gardens as they cared for Jerry with such compassion during the past decade. Likewise, the family also expresses appreciation to Palliative Care and Hospice, Charlotte Region for their help and attention to Jerry Brite during the most recent weeks.
