Jerry A. Boswell, 82, passed away on Saturday October the 31st, 2026 at Novant Presbyterian Medical Center. He was born in Cabarrus County on November the 23rd, 1943 to the late Arthur and Lottie Hill Boswell. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Austin Boswell whom he loved and missed dearly.

Jerry was an incredible loving husband, father, and an even more wonderful paw paw. His family was his whole world and he cherished every moment with them.

Jerry was a faithful member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in New Salem and loved every single member there and had a sincere devotion to GOD and to serve through his church.

He was the former owner and operator of Bosco's Grill in Peachland and was blessed with having made many lifelong friends through his loyal customers and acquaintances over those 20 years. He never met a stranger. He loved to talk, he loved to engage with people, and often made connections with not only them but their families and friends too. He had a remarkable gift and he was loved by many.

Funeral Services will be 2pm Friday, November 6th, 2026 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Marshville, NC. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 6pm-8pm the evening of November 5th at Gordon Funeral Service in Monroe, NC.

He is survived by his son Mr. Andy Boswell and his wife Michelle and two granddaughters, Brooke and Meadow Boswell of Norwood, and his sister Mrs. Gail Thomas and husband Eugene of Marshville.
