Jerry Brown Gurley, 75, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015. He was born in Union County, NC on August 20, 1939 son of the late Charlie Brown and Audrey Richardson Gurley. A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, June 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM in Lakeland Memorial Park. Mr. Gurley is survived by his wife, Barbara Jeanne Gurley, sons, Jerry Sheldon Gurley and wife Tamera, Randy Eric Gurley and wife Dawn, step-sons, Robert Eugene Thompson and wife Stacey and William Kelly Thompson and wife, Jamie, all of Monroe, sister, Linda Buford, 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
