Jerry Wayne Melton

Jerry Wayne Melton, 70, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015. He was born July 26, 1944 son of the late James Pemberton and Bonnie Mae Lane Melton. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Sandy Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, 1106 Sandy Ridge Road, Monroe NC 28112. The family will visit following the service. Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Brenda P. Melton, two sons, Jeff Melton of Concord and Jeremy Melton of Statesville a daughter, Crystal Holliday of Statesville, two step- sons, Ervin Williams of Boone and Buddy Cutshaw of Rock Hill, a step-daughter, Shelia Snelling of Gastonia, a brother, Larry Melton and a sister, Shirley Hinson both of Monroe, thirteen grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
