Jerry Dale Phifer, 73, of Wingate, NC, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020. He was born on January 17, 1947 son to the late Marvin James Phifer and Margaret Mills Phifer. The funeral service will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Galilee Baptist Church, 5619 Pageland Hwy, Monroe, NC 28112. Burial to follow in Wingate City Cemetery. Jerry is survived by his devoted wife Barbara Sistare Phifer, daughters; Wendy Phifer Outen (Marc), Jennifer Guptill (Steven), step-daughter, Tonia Pate (David), step-son, Darrin Copeland, (Joey), brother, Dennis Phifer (Ann) and a sister Kathy Phifer Rape, eight grandchildren, Jonathan Starnes, Mason Starnes, Christopher Guptill, Kaitlin Guptill, Raven Baker, Isiah Baker, T.J. Pate and Christian Copeland.
