Jimmy Dean Haywood

Jimmy Dean Haywood, 66, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. He was born in Columbus, GA January 29, 1956, the son of the late Harry Hayne Haywood and Betty Pressley Haywood. He is preceded in death by his daughter Heidi Lynn Haywood and brother, Doug Haywood.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 30, 2022, at Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC, 28112. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow with military honors at Waxhaw City Cemetery.

Dean is survived by his loving wife Ava Haywood, two daughters: Amber Haywood of Waxhaw, NC, and Kayla Haywood Field and husband Eric Field of Charlotte, one grandson Elijah Goley of Waxhaw, NC, and dear friends; Doug Pierce, Caleb Carter and Kris Patterson.
