Jimmy John Ratliff

Jimmy John Ratliff, 67, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021. He was born January 5, 1954, son of the late Fon Ratliff and Mildred Greene Ratliff. He is also preceded in death by his brother Lloyd Ratliff and sisters, Connie Elliott and Maryanne Coleman. Funeral Services will be held 3:00PM, Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Shining Light Baptist Church, 2541 Old Charlotte Hwy., Monroe, NC 28110. The family will receive friends 2:00PM until 3:00PM prior to the service at the church. Jimmy was a devoted member of Shining Light Baptist Church for 26 years. He loved the Lord, his family and his church. He loved to laugh and have fun. He was strong in life and death. His life verse was “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me ” -- Philippians 4:13 Jimmy is survived by his wife, Deborah Watson Ratliff of Monroe; three daughters, Rebekah Ratliff of Monroe, Rachel Ratliff Heflin (Brandon) of Yukon, OK, Ruth Ratliff of Monroe; two granddaughters, Kaylee Helfin and Katelyn Ratliff; three brothers, Gerald Ratliff of Akron, OH, Darrel Ratliff of Monroe, Fon Ratliff of Pineville, NC and two sisters, Patty Richmond of Columbus OH and Jean Moran of Kent, OH.
