Jimmy Kenneth Wright , 71, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021. He is the son of the late Kenneth M. Wright and Eunnie Bess Gainey. Funeral services will be at 11:00AM Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Hopewell Baptist Church Legacy Chapel, 420 Hopewell Church Rd. Monroe, NC 28110, officiated by Dr. Lee Pigg. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service at the church with burial to follow at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. Jimmy never met a stranger. He always shared his faith in the Lord and enjoyed serving and helping others. He loved his garden and working outside. He loved sharing his vegetables with others. Jimmy is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Wright; his two daughters, Sarah and Abby; and his son, David and wife Michelle. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hopewell Baptist Church Building Fund, 420 Hopewell Church Rd. Monroe, NC 28110.
