Jo Crook Secrest

Jo Crook Secrest, 91, passed away, Tuesday, January 24, 2012. She was born in Union County, NC on May 19, 1920 daughter of the late John A. Crook, Sr. and Wilma Bass Crook. A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Lakeland Memorial Park. Mrs. Secrest was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Secrest and son, Joel Secrest. She is survived by her grandson, Josh Secrest and wife Patti, granddaughter, Gretta Secrest, brother, John A. Crook, Jr., all of Monroe, sister, Hilda Smith and husband Bob of High Point, daughter-in-law, Pam Secrest of Monroe and nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Rehabilitation Nursing Center of Monroe for their loving care and her family and friends for their visits and support.
