Joe Aycoth, 88, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021. He was born March 6, 1933 in Union County, NC son of the late Sam Wesley & Myrtle Lucille Hemby Aycoth. He is also preceded in death by two sisters Marilyn Aycoth & Jean McCray. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and family prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe NC 28112. Joe is survived by his loving wife Lillian Owens Aycoth, twos sons: Eddie Aycoth, wife Linda, and Joseph Aycoth, wife Christine, two grandchildren: Noah Aycoth and Amber Aycoth.
