Joe Neal Nash

Joe Neal Nash, 87 died Sunday, July 1, 2018. He was born March 23, 1931 in Union County, NC son to the late Jeptha Augustus Florence Braswell Nash. He is also preceded in death by his wife Anne Curlee Nash, three brothers, Harold, Heath and Homer Nash, three sisters Eunice Price, Gladys Henderson, and Bernice Helms. Joe was a USAF Veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a retired Electrician and was an Ordained Baptist Minister. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Benton Heights Presbyterian Church with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM at the church. Joe is survived by three daughters Pam Nash, of Monroe, Jan Nash Rowell, of Monroe, and Kim Nash Thompson of Kannapolis, a sister Doris Greene of Monroe, four grandchildren, Zachary Rowell of Davidson, Spencer Rowell of Wilmington, Anne Marie Thompson of Kannapolis and Sara Thompson, of Mt. Pleasant. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Benton Heights Presbyterian Church, Building Fund, 2701 Concord Hwy, Monroe, NC 28110, or Hospice of Union County, 700 W.
