Joe Neal Purser, 71, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2023. He was born June 18, 1952, son of the late Hiram and Zela Hinson Purser. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Helen Philemon; brother, Hiram Purser; niece, Karen Philemon and nephew, Scott Purser.

A graveside service will be held Friday, December 15, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, 6223 Love Mill Road, Monroe, NC.

Mr. Purser is survived by his brother, Rodney Purser (Karen); brother-in-law, Rodgell Philemon; nieces and nephews, Eric Purser (Annette), Tammy Maske (Mark), Gary Philemon (Ginger), Daniel Philemon (Pennie) and Nikki Holder.
