Joe Neal Sutton

Joe Neal Sutton, 78, of Monroe, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at Clare Bridge Assisted Living. He was born March 5, 1937, in Union County, NC, son of the late Charlie Cleveland Sutton and Margie Miller Sutton. He was also preceded in death by brothers, William Franklin Sutton and Charles Reed Sutton. Mr. Sutton is survived by his wife, Mrs. Delores Clontz Sutton, two sons, Gary Sutton of Burnsville, and Wayne Sutton of Monroe, daughter, Rebecca Sutton, of Monroe, sisters, Anne Delores Richardson and Vera Mae Burgess, both of Monroe, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112, on Monday, June 8, 2015 from 2:00 until 2:45 PM followed by the funeral service at 3:00 PM in the Gordon Funeral Chapel.
