Joel Michael “Mike” Walters, 74, of Statesville, NC passed away on November 19, 2024. He was born in St. Augustine, FL on April 12, 1950, son of the late Bradie Joel Walters and Margie Griffin Walters. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Eric Danny Walters.

A service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024, in the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Forest Lawn East Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 AM until 10:45AM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112.

Mike is survived by his sons, Bradie Joel Walters II, Michael David Walters, Jonathan Matthew Walters, and Michael Reed Walters; his daughter, Janet Walters Brinkley (Matt); his brother, Kenny Walters; his sister, Patty Eatmon (Joe); as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
