John Larry Broom

John Larry Broom, 72, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013. He was born in Union County, NC on October 15, 1941 son of the late John Walker and Bridie Baucom Broom. Larry was retired from Vanguard Supreme. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, December 13, 2013 at Emmanuel Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Larry is survived by his wife, Sherri Helms Broom, sons, Phillip Broom of Wrightsville Beach, NC, Jay Broom and wife, Jacqueline, granddaughter, Suzannah Broom, all of Waxhaw, brother, Tim Broom of Monroe.
