Built in 1951 as the second option available, this model went through several variations in its life. It was originally headquartered in New York until 1972 when a new headquarters and assembly plant was established in Florida. The first merger occurred in the 70’s where it saw the first reproduction in 1976, followed by that merger’s last joint model in 1978. Not content, a second merger occurred in 1983, resulting in the last reproduction model in 1988. Spin-offs occurred in 2000 and 2002, followed by the latest edition in 2024. After moving the assembly plant and headquarters to North Carolina in 2009, this model remained in production until 2024.
