John Thomas Jr. Jamerson

John Thomas Jamerson, Jr., 86, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016. He was born in Concord, VA on June 13, 1930 son of the late John Thomas and Elizabeth Wilson Jamerson. Mr. Jamerson was a US Air Force veteran and a retired Duke Power employee. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 12:00 until 12:45 PM at Trinity Fellowship Church, with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in Sharon Memorial Park. Mr. Jamerson is survived by his wife, Doris Katherine McKee Jamerson, daughters, Deneen Parker and husband Gary of Stallings, Christy Price and husband Ryne of Monroe, son, Wayne Hartsell and fiancé Christine Thompson of Iron Station, grandchildren, Jason Davis, Garrett Parker and Nicolette Price. He was preceded in death by a son, Danny Davis. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Fellowship Church, 13232 Idlewild Rd., Matthews, NC 28105.
