John Joseph La Vine

John Joseph La Vine Jr., age 62, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2022 in Monroe, NC. He was born October 29, 1959, in Weehawken, NJ, to John La Vine Sr. and the late Dolores La Vine. He was preceded in death by his mother Dolores and sister Jacqueline Krol.

John married the love of his life, Deborah Nibbling, February 10, 1988. They lived in Vernon, NJ where they raised their five children. John worked in IT with Pfizer for 25 years.
John never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with family and friends. He was an amazing husband, loving father, and affectionate grandfather. John could accomplish just about anything he set his mind to do.

The family will receive family and friends on Monday, July 18, 2022 from 5pm-7pm at the Gordon Funeral Home - 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112.

John is survived by his father, John; his wife Deborah La Vine; his sister Morgana Biddix; his children Nicole La Vine, Rebecca La Vine, Jennifer Sneed (Richard), Catherine Stewart (Brandon), and John La Vine; his grandchildren Brooklynn Cruz, Arianna Cruz, Colton La Vine, Atticus Sneed, Caiden Cruz, and Wesley Sneed; and countless family and friends.

John, although you are leaving behind this world, you will always be a huge part of our lives and our hearts. We love you and will miss you forever.
