He was a retired manager in city and county government. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the First Presbyterian Church of Monroe. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 10, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. John is survived by three sons John C. Munn, III of Normal, Illinois, David Munn of Garner, NC and Michael Munn of Lake Park, NC. Two grandsons John Clark Munn, IV and Andrew Charles Munn. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to the First Presbyterian Church, 302 E. Windsor St., Monroe, NC 28112.
