John Henry Walters

Dateline: Waxhaw NC John Henry Walters, 87, died Monday, August 21, 2006. He was born in Union County, NC on February 19, 1919 son of the late William Brady and Bessie Taylor Walters. Mr. Walters was a US Army WW II veteran and a retired electronic technician. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 24, 2006 at 1:00 PM in Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Burial with military honors will follow in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Frances Laney Walters, sons, Johnny Mac Walters of Monroe, and Mike Walters of Waxhaw, daughter, Ann W. Harrington of Marshville, brother, Ralph Walters of Mt. Holly, sisters, Mildred Pressley of Indian Trail, Sabina Medlin and Frances Ann Arant, both of Monroe, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends following the service Thursday at the church. Memorials may be made to Mt.
