Johncy Bryn Ghant, 80, passed away Monday, September 22, 2014. She was born in Lancaster, SC on April 6, 1934 daughter of the late Johnny Carson and Mary Louise Gregory Blackmon. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Terry Blackmon. Ms. Ghant was the owner and operator of Hideaway Fish Camp. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7:00 PM Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC followed by the memorial service at 7:00 PM in the Gordon Funeral Chapel. Ms. Ghant is survived by her daughters, Sheila Kiser of Waxhaw and Kim Player of Murrells Inlet, SC, brother, Jerry Blackmon of Lancaster, SC, sisters, Novice Sigmon, of Charlotte, Donna Boger of Taylors, SC, Rochelle Helms and Kay Carnes, both of Waxhaw, and Sherry Hill of Spartanburg, SC, grandchildren, Casey Player of Charlotte, Blake Player of Murrells Inlet, SC and Hailey Kiser of Waxhaw.
