Monroe, NC Johnsie Bruce Montgomery, 69, died Monday, November 3, 2008. She was born in Union County, NC on November 24, 1938 daughter of the late Bruce and Pauline McWhorter Flowers. A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 6, 2008 at 6:00 PM in the Gordon Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service. Mrs. Montgomery is survived by her husband, Jimmy Lane Montgomery, son, Jon Montgomery of Monroe, daughter, Janna Montgomery of Myrtle Beach, SC, brothers, Edwin T. Flowers of Orlando, Florida, James Flowers of Richmond, Virginia, sister, Alice Crow of Charlotte and one grandchild.
