Jon Patrick Coggin, 50, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022. He was born November 17, 1971 in Guilford County, son of Deborah Jean Coleman and the late Charles Edward Coggin.

Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Midway Baptist Church, 4615 Olive Branch Road, Wingate, NC 28174, with Dr. Rev. Eric Cook officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45PM prior to the service at the church. Burial with military honors will follow in the church cemetery.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Marie L. Coggin of Monroe, NC; sons, Chase Coggin of Charlotte, NC, James Coggin and Ethan Coggin both of Monroe, NC; his brother, Chris Coggin (Anita) of Pleasant Garden, NC; and a sister, Heather Weavil (Chad) of Thomasville, NC.

Patrick served his country in both the Navy and Army before receiving his honorable discharge.
