Josephine Richardson

Mrs. Josephine Griffin Richardson, 94, of Monroe, NC passed away August 23, 2019. She was born in Union County on September 13, 1924 to the late John and Ruth McManus Griffin. Josephine was also preceded in death by her husband Erskine Richardson Sr., and their daughter Lucille Richardson. Funeral Services will be held at 4:30pm Sunday August 25, 2019 at Gordon Funeral Chapel 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. Burial to follow at Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 4:00pm until 4:30pm. Josephine is survived by her son Erskine “Dale” Richardson, wife Ann of Southport NC, three brothers; Robert Griffin, Dillon Griffin and Carroll Wayne Griffin all of Monroe, NC, a sister, Mary Massey of Fort Mill, SC, and one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
