Joshua Shane Medlin, 41, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021. He was born January 28, 1980 in Mecklenburg County. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday March 27, 2021 in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends following the service. Those in attendance are asked to please follow the mask mandate and wear proper face covering. Joshua is survived by his mother Kim Helms (John Richards), father Freddie Medlin (Angie Medlin), wife Amy Smith Medlin, three daughters: Annalyce Medlin, Isabelle Medlin, and Olivia Medlin; three brothers: Gavin Richards, Wyatt Richards, and Jeff Long; two sisters: Carson Richards, and Stacey Godwin.
