Joyce Cheek Levy passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015. She was born in Union County, NC daughter to the late William Howard Ruby Underwood Cheek. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Oak Grove Baptist Church, 4013 New Town Rd., Waxhaw NC 28173. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will visit on Sunday prior to the service from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM. Mrs. Levy is survived by her loving husband of 45 years Robert Levy, a son John Phillips, wife Cynthia, of Weddington, a daughter Jody Griffin of Monroe, a sister JoAnne Fogle, husband Lou of Ashville, grandchildren Whitney Phillips, of Mint Hill, Amber Griffin of Lancaster, SC, Adam Phillips of Stanfield, great grandchildren Morgan Jayde Collins, Wyatt Lee Chapman, nieces Darla Fogle and Shannon Robinson.
