Joyce Louise Merritt

Joyce Louise Martin Merritt, 82, of Waxhaw, NC passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. She was born on May 30, 1939 in Augusta County, VA, daughter to the late John Clayton Martin and Doris Wolfe Martin. She is also preceded in death by her husbands, John Henry Woolford Jr. and Floyd Merritt, as well as a son John Barry Woolford and brother, James Edward Martin.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM, Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Waxhaw Baptist Church, 8213 Old Waxhaw Monroe Road, Waxhaw, NC 28173.

Joyce is survived by her two sons, Clayton Woolford, wife Beth, Wayne Woolford wife Jeanette, daughter Janey Merritt Parker, sister Ruth Martin Hogg, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
