Joyce Pace Tarlton

Joyce Pace Tarlton, 81, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2009. Joyce was born March 29, 1928 in Fluvanna County, VA daughter of the late Frank King and Clarice King Pace. She was also preceded in death by her husband Robert Wayne “Bob” Tarlton. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 1, 2009 at 12:00 PM in the Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Charlotte, NC. Mrs. Tarlton is survived by one son James Steven Huffman of Louisa, VA, three brothers F.K. Pace, James C. Pace both of Palmyra, VA, and Donald C. Pace of Midlothian, VA, two sisters JoAnn Bell and Donna P. Wills both of Palmyra, VA, two grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, June1, 2009 from 11:00 PM until 11:45 PM at Gordon Funeral Service.
