Juan Manuel Lopez Meza, 64, of Marshville, NC, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026. He was born in Mexico on July 3, 1962, to the late Edilverta Meza Dominguez and Francisco Lopez Torrez. He is also preceded in death by his daughter, Rosa Lopez, and siblings, Ponciano, Belen, David, and Tereso.

A funeral mass will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1095 E Franklin St, Monroe, NC 28112, with burial to follow at Lakeland Memorial Park. 

A visitation will be held at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112, on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Juan is survived by his partner, Debra “Debbie” Dunbar, sons, Juan (Samantha) Lopez, Florentino Lopez, Francisco (Jasmine) Lopez, Jose Lopez, Christian Lopez, Ryan (BJ) Musick, daughter, Nashala Shelton, grandchildren, Nicholas Lopez, Juan Lopez, Isabella Lopez, Eliana Lopez, Mateo Lopez, and siblings, Carmela, Rosa, Angel, Antonio, Quirino.

Juan was a dedicated and hardworking concrete contractor who took great pride in owning and operating his own company.
