Juanita Dunn Fincher

Juanita Catherine Dunn Fincher, 81, of Monroe, NC passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, September 16, 2023. She was born in Scotland County on August 30, 1942, daughter to the late Gadie Dunn and Lizzie Mae Dunn, she was also preceded in death by her husband John Milburn “Bull” Fincher, as well as her sister Bobbie Phaff.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, in the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112, with burial to follow in the Sandy Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.

Juanita is survived by her four sons, Tim Strickland (Lisa), Jeffrey Strickland (Stephanie), Herbie Strickland (Linda), and Teddy Strickland (Jessi), daughter Brenda Lawson (Elmore), step-son John David Fincher (Amy), three brothers Kelly Blackburn and Clifford Blackburn, Connie Dunn, twenty-three grandchildren, Luke Strickland, Jacob Strickland, Brooke Strickland, Amy Strickland and Tyler Strickland, Nelson Burr, Jessica Jones, Daniel Sanders( Fiancée Brandy Lewis), Brian Sanders, Nikki Edge, Paige Strickland, Chance Strickland, Gabriel Rolan, Donald Clay, Amanda Dawn Abee, Tara Strickland, Kristen Tucker, Candance Strickland Knight, Anthony Strickland, Chase Strickland, Morgan Strickland, Jordan Strickland, and Stacie Knight, well as 20 great-grandchildren.
