Judy Ann Dorton

Judy Hilton Dorton, 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 2, 2023. She was born in Union County on March 7, 1948 to the late Sam Hilton and Maggie Helms Hilton. She is also preceded in death by her brother Sam Hilton Jr. and three sisters, Carolyn Nash, Mary Starnes, and Joyce Helms.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112.

Judy is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Ronald Wilson Dorton and two brothers; Jerry Hilton and Randy Hilton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd. Monroe, NC 28110.
