Leroy Junior Hinson, 83, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017. He was born July 21, 1933 in Union County, NC son to the late Henry Leroy Ozell Long Hinson. He is also preceded in death by a brother Billy Joe Hinson. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Benton Cross Roads Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will visit prior to the service from 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM at the church. Junior is survived by his loving wife Louise Love Hinson, a son, Phillip Hinson, wife Donna of Monroe, a daughter Wanda Hinson Ewing, husband Jim of Pageland, three sisters; Lavonne Greene, Lindene Mullis, and Gail Aycoth all of Monroe, five grandchildren; Amy Gambrell, Jessica Morse, Meredith Starnes, Ashley Hinson, and Mary Beth Baucom, nine great grandchildren; Balin, and Aiden Gambrell, Megan, Madison, and Emma Morse, Hunter and Brentlee Starnes, Waylon and Rosie Baucom.
