Kathleen Fowler

Dateline: Monroe, NC Kathleen Belk Fowler, 87, died Monday, September 6, 2010. Mrs. Fowler was born in Union County, NC, June 17, 1923, daughter of the late Luther Lamar and Cora Lee Kizer Belk. Kathleen was a beloved mother, an active lifelong church member and the Order of the Eastern Star. Kathleen was also preceded in death by her sisters Margarette Ruth McManus and Lukie Mae Long. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Kathleen is survived by her son Alfred Lamar Fowler, Jr. of Pine Lake, GA; daughter Phyllis Fowler Gray of Marietta, GA; grandchildren Whitney Fowler Gray and Hunter Lane Gray. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 7, 2010 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.
