Kathleen Joan Lawson, 78, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 with her beloved husband by her side. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Adele Snow Link. She was also preceded in death by her sister Regina and brother Kevin. Family will receive friends Friday, April 30, 2021, 11:00AM until 4:00PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe NC 28112. The family will also gather at the home of Lorrie Karas after 5:00PM on Friday. Kathleen is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Bobby Lawson; 2 sons, Mark Engel, wife Gail of Charlotte, NC, and Robert Lawson, wife Jacqueline of Alabama; one daughter, Lorrie Karas, husband Jack of Weddington, NC;1 brother Artie Link of Gainsville, Fl; and was beloved Nana to 4 grandchildren, Alex Engel, Hunter Karas, Stephen Karas and Robert Lawson, III.
