Kathryn Louise (Williams) Reynolds

Kathryn Louise Reynolds, 85, died peacefully in her home in Waxhaw on Saturday, February 24, 2018. She was born in Union County, NC to the late Manuel F. and Maude A. Williams. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Roger Lee Reynolds; her devoted daughter Claudia Reynolds Harris; her loving grandchildren, Morella and Isabella; her brother Larry and sister-in-law Glenda; and her niece Tracey and family. Kathy received her B.A. in Music and her M.A. in Education from UNC Chapel Hill. She taught piano as a young woman, and then worked at UNC Charlotte as an audiovisual librarian for several years. Kathy loved being a mother and homemaker, and had a passion and talent for interior design. She filled her home and the lives of those who surrounded her with grace and beauty. Kathy was a dedicated member of the Church of Christ in Mineral Springs. A memorial service will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Gordon Funeral Service.
