Kelly Lee Mullis, 83, of Monroe, NC passed away Friday, May 29, 2020. He was born in Union County on March 14,1937 to the Late Ruth Mullis Kiker. A funeral service will be held at 4:00PM Monday, June 1, 2020 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. Burial to follow at Crooked Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 7918 Crooked Creek Church Road, Monroe, NC 28110. Lee is survived by his wife Brenda Kiker Mullis, stepsons, Greg Baucom and Logan Mullis, stepdaughters, Penny Lewis (Lynn) and Reecie Craig (Dennis), eight grandchildren; Andrew Rushing, Josh Rushing (Ashley), Chris Baucom, Michael Mullis, Mackenzie Mullis (Jake), Meagan Mullis, Lynsey Lewis and Dillon Lewis, six great-grandchildren and his loyal pets Missy and Coco. The family will receive friends from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Gordon Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to American Heart Association, 222 S.
