Kenneth Coleman Ashley, 85, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025. He was born August 26, 1939, in Union County, NC son of the late Winslow & Florence Ashley. He is also preceded in death by his wife Catherine Ashley and a brother Winslow Ashley, Jr., four sisters, Lavater Knight, Alta Tysinger, Rosa Lee Blythe, and Clifford Blythe.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Waxhaw United Methodist Church, 200 McDonald St., Waxhaw, NC 28173, with burial to follow in Waxhaw City Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM in the church fellowship hall.

He is survived by sons Tim Ashley and wife Pam, children Samantha Ashley, Zoe Ashley, Kenneth Ashley and wife Patti, daughter Erin Flitt and husband Bruce Flitt, sons Christopher and Matthew Flitt.
