Kenneth W. Ken Beam, 84, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017. Ken was born January 6, 1933 in Gaston County son to the late Claude Cordie Kale Beam. Ken is survived by his wife, Nell Barbee Beam. A Service Of Remembrance will be held 2:30 PM, Friday at Elizabethan Gardens, 1812 New Town Road Monroe, NC 28110. The family will also receive friends on Saturday afternoon at their residence. Ken was a United States Marine Corps Veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. There will be a graveside service held 1:00 PM, Wednesday March 22 in the Salisbury National Cemetery with Military Honors.
