Kenneth Moser of Monroe passed away on January 15, 2015. He was born June 3, 1943 to Marjorie Moser Melton. He will be remembered as a man of laughter and love. His passion for life was contagious, as witnessed by all that knew him. Kenneth was a life-time member of Bethlehem UMC where he served in many capacities. He served in many ways throughout his lifetime through his work with Boy Scouts, Masons Truth Lodge 749, lay-witness mission leader, coach, Feed the Hungry, rest home ministries, and in many other ways through his talent for music and cooking. He was admired by many for his wit, his leadership and his compassion for others. He will be missed. Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother, his stepfather Jesse Melton, and sister Janice Moser. He is survived by his wife Cindy Rushing Moser, his sons Greg Moser, Michael Long, Alex Porter, and daughter Robin Long. He was blessed with two wonderful daughter-laws Melissa Moser and Alisa Long, eight grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Services to celebrate the life of Kenneth will be at 4:00 PM Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Bethlehem UMC, Waxhaw, NC the family will visit prior to the service starting at 3:00PM. In lieu of flowers the family is asking to honor his life with your donations to Bethlehem UMC pre-school program and can be sent to Bethlehem UMC, 5300 Nesbit Road, Waxhaw NC 28173 or to the Kairos Prison Ministry, 100 DeBary Plantation Blvd., DeBary, Fl 32713.
