Kyle Wayne Benton, 46, passed away on May 28, 2026, in Matthews, NC. He was born in Union County, NC, on July 15, 1979, to Kenneth Ray Benton and Hazel Virginia Williams.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

Kyle is survived by his son, Kyle Wayne Benton, Jr; daughter, Taylor Rape (Billy); brothers, Scott Benton (Becky), Kevin Benton (Danielle); stepfather, Doyle McManus; stepson, Walk Ellenburg; stepdaughters, Makenzi Robinson (Will), Alexis Ellenburg; and grandchildren, Kendyl Ellenburg, Sawyer Holley.
