It is with profound sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Ladd Benjamin Lesh, 42, on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. Born on May 13, 1984, in Pensacola, Florida, Ladd was the beloved son of Todd Lesh and Janie Goodroe Lesh.

Ladd was a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished son and brother, and a beloved friend to many. A Godly leader and a cornerstone of faith for his family, Ladd's love for the Lord was central to his life. He was deeply adored by his wife and nine precious children, and his love for his family and his unwavering faith will remain an enduring part of his legacy.

In addition to his parents, Ladd is survived by his beloved wife, April Thompson Lesh; their seven sons, Jackson, Boone, Canaan, Ames, Traveler, Ransom, and Ridge; and their two daughters, Oakley and Verity. He is also survived by his brother, Sky Lesh (Emily), and his two sisters, Charity Decker (Jared) and Bethany Woolfolk (Andrew).

A memorial service to honor Ladd's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 3, at Christ Covenant Church in Matthews. He was laid to rest privately by his family at Rehobeth Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

During this season of unimaginable grief, the family humbly asks for your prayers, love, and support as they mourn this tremendous loss and seek comfort in their faith.
