Larose Peay

LaRose Richardson Peay, 87, passed away peacefully with her daughters and sons-in-law present at Jesse Helms Nursing Center, Monroe, NC on April 5, 2019. LaRose was born on August 17, 1931, daughter of the late Ernest and LaRose Richardson. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, John Brawley Peay, Jr. and daughter, Rennie Peay Damon. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, on Monday, April 8th, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Monroe, with Dr. Chris Dawson officiating. The family will receive friends in the church parlor from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm prior to the service. A private burial will be held at First Baptist Church, Pageland, SC cemetery following the ceremony. She is survived by daughters, Sherry Brantley (Dillon), Debbie Ashcraft (John) and Pam Sanders (Jody), six grandchildren, Trey Ashcraft, Brandon Ashcraft Austin (Gray), Tate Brantley (Kasie), John Brantley, Justin Sanders and Jake Sanders, and six great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank all of the staff at Jesse Helms Nursing Center for the excellent care and love they gave to our Mom.
